has added support for Google’s cloud storage solution, Google Drive. The web automationplatform, which stands for “if this then that”, uses “recipes” in order to automate tasks, and monitors a range of web services in order to action changes on others.
By connecting a Google Drive account, users can choose from more than a hundred recipes with actions such as saving all recorded Tweets to Drive, saving Instagram photos and recording a city’s rainfall in a spreadsheet. Currently there are no triggers for Google Drive, meaning only actions can be added, such as saving files or modifying documents.
Triggers can be added for IFTTT from plenty of other Google services however, including Gmail, Talk and Reader. Google Drive joins Box and Dropbox as the third cloud storage solution compatible with the service.
